Nylon Rope Hammocks
Our nylon hammocks are hand woven from 100% industrial strength nylon. The rope is locally made by weavers that make net for the fishing industry. Each rope is made from eight strands braided around a center core, for added durability. The hammocks are built to last and withstand exposure to salt water and sunshine, yet remain soft and silky. Their colors will not bleed or fade. They have been treated so they won’t rot or mildew, and have been protected against UV rays, so their colors will stay truer longer.
